12 oz. Nerikomi Mountain Mug

The ancient technique of nerikomi was used to create this mountain mug.

Layers of colored porcelain were stacked to create a nerikomi cane. I sliced through the cross section of the layers. I inlaid these pieces into black clay to create a mountain landscape. The pattern continues on the handle of the mug.

All glazes are microwave/dishwasher safe.
